My wonderful dad died of pulmonary fibrosis which is an incurable lung disease which appears from nowhere. There is very little awareness of this disease and to date their is no medication to help those diagnosed with this disease and no cure. It progresses very quickly from diagnosis and there is no help for the suffering of those diagnosed with their decline. There needs to be so much more awareness of this disease and money put into research.

Breathing matters is a fantastic charity dedicating their time and money to research in pulmonary fibrosis. They need as much publicity and money for research as they can get to help those suffering from this horrible disease.

I like taking part in a 13 mile run, but at present struggle to run more than 3 miles. I have entered and am now training for the great west run in Exeter on the 19th October 2014....a half marathon!!! I could not find any other run that would let me raise money for a charity that I wanted to choose.

Please help me raise as much money as possible for them. The money donated from the funeral was given to them and I would like to give them more...

I miss my dad so much, everyday is a struggle but I know he is with me and will help me with every mile of the run.
