Story
I am sure everyone would agree that you don’t need a story or an incentive to raise money for Children however it always makes it more personal & encourages you to give that little bit more when you hear from a friend.
One of 7 children I grow up in a household which like many had daily struggles. Dad disabled following a car accident, frustrated & fuelled by Alcohol days & nights were often upsetting for me and my siblings. In 2005 I lost my mum who was just 47 years old to Alcoholism.
My siblings & I were incredibly lucky to have the beautiful outdoors of Highland Perthshire & the support of many Outdoor instructors to guide and support us.
Not every child will be lucky enough to have the support around when facing tough challenges within their homes. Cash for kids is a charity that helps local children living with all sorts of difficulties.
Now happily married and with a beautiful baby girl, turning 30 I was keen to set myself a wee challenge. Wanting to be a role model to my little girl in the future I thought I’d give the Marathon a go.
I would like everyone to donate as much as you can to help children who are neglected and experience daily challenges.
My training so far is going well but your donations will spur me on during wet windy days!
Your donations mean CASH FOR KIDS!
