Story
Hi everyone!
I'm so excited to be part of the Medics' Reveal for the third time this year - and this time, as one of the co-ordinators! For those who don't know, the Medics' Reveal is a variety show (of sorts) in which medical students from The University of Edinburgh perform a vast array of dances. As the show goes on, less and less clothing will be seen on stage... This year, the show is being held in the Assembly Rooms on the 25th of March, and I will be taking part in 3 dances (help).
While the show is so much fun to take part in, the real drive and motivation for the show's success lies with how much money we can raise for Teenage Cancer Trust. 7 young people are diagnosed with cancer every single day, and TCT supports them by building specialist units, funding nurses and youth support co-ordinators, working alongside hair salons to ensure young people can remain confident by wearing a wig, as well as many other interventions.
Over the last three years, we have managed to raise an incredible £30,000 for this fantastic charity, and this year we would love to raise more to add to our total. Each member of the cast has been given a fundraising target of £15 which alone will really help us reach this year's fundraising target of £12,000. So please be as generous as you can for this great cause, any donations will be massively appreciated! Also please come along and see the event itself! Thank you :)
