Story
Hi everyone!
I'm so excited to be part of the Medics' Reveal again this year - for those who don't know, it's a variety show (of sorts) in which medical students from The University of Edinburgh perform a vast array of dances. As the show goes on, less and less clothing will be seen on stage... This year the show is being held in Usher Hall on the 12th of March, and I will be taking part in 3 dances (help).
While the show is so much fun to take part in, the real drive and motivation for the show's success lies with how much money we can raise for Teenage Cancer Trust. 7 young people are diagnosed with cancer every single day, and TCT supports them by building specialist units, funding nurses and youth support co-ordinators, working alongside hair salons to ensure young people can remain confident by wearing a wig, as well as many other interventions.
Last year we raised £10,000 for this fantastic charity, but this year we would love to raise even more. Each member of the cast has been given a fundraising target of £15 which alone will really help us blow last year's sum out of the water. So please be as generous as you can for this great cause, any donations will be massively appreciated! Also come along and see the event itself! Thank you :)
