This is my first attempt at anything of this kind, a small step to reaching a half decent level of fitness! My aim is to do something a little more impressive next time, your support might just be the encouragement I need (although I won't pretend that swimming 800m followed by running 3,200m is not going to be a little bit tiring)! 

This is not really about my personal goals but fundraising for a fine cause.  Cobalt is a Gloucestershire based cancer charity.  It funds research projects, promotes awarenes and prevention, facilitates screening and finally it has invested time, money and expertise to create its own diagnostic imaging centre in Cheltenham.
