I signed up for this challenge with the Clevedon Badgers before realising what I had let myself in for! It’s going to be a real challenge. The water will be cold and I’ll have to swim for an hour at a time three times during the 24 hours including a night swim in Clevedon Marine lake in the company of sea monsters that lurk beneath...  So I am having to acclimatise to swimming for quite a bit longer than my usual quick dip.  It’s all for a good cause. We are raising money for Level Water. It’s a fantastic charity that helps children with disabilities learn to swim.   Any amount of sponsorship will be greatly appreciated. It will go towards specialist 1:1 and small group lessons across the UK. The aim is for children with mobility, visual and hearing impairments to become independent in the water. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water.
