Its now been over 30 years since my dear mother lost her battle with cancer and it is in her memory that I strive to raise funds for Macmillan. This will be my third challenge  to date and I've raised over £6,500 for this very special charity.

It started in an Irish bar in Nicaragua after celebrating the end of a my Central American bike ride.  After one too many it seemed like a good idea to take on the challenge of run for a change!  So, on 16th September 2012 I am attempting my very first half marathon The Great North Run!!  This has involved many hours and miles of training, please don't let this be in vain and dig deep to make it worth while.
