Story

Hi Folks,

As some  of you know, in 6 weeks time I will be taking on my biggest running challenge to date, and taking part in my first half marathon; the Brentwood Half.

Throughout the pandemic, running has given me a much needed escape from the challenges we have all faced, but none more so than the charities who have struggled to continue to support their worthwhile causes since the start of 2020. With this in mind, I have decided to run the half marathon on behalf of two charities, which are very close to my heart.

The first Ovacome, a UK based ovarian cancer support charity, in memory of my mum Mary who lost her battle with the disease 16 years ago.

The second, the Stroke Association, in memory of my father-in-law Biff, who was taken from us in November 2019 after suffering a stroke in the summer of that year.

If you can spare anything and would like to support me in my challenge, I would be truly grateful.

Love Susan xx
