Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Over the past few years I have enjoyed taking part in the Memory Walk run by Alzheimers Scotland. Dalkeith Country Park was the perfect place even when it is raining to spend time raising funds for such a great charity. Alzheimers Scotland gave us the help and support that we needed for Mum so means a lot to us.
Due to the current situation like many other things the Memory Walk will not be taking place. However I have signed up to do my own ' virtual walk'. I am planning to do a different walk this year, one that Mum, Mike and I did ( well I was in my pram so still counts) many, many ... years ago. It was in 1964 the year that The Forth Road Bridge opened.
So my 'virtual Memory walk' for 2020 is walking across the Forth Road Bridge. Not once but 4 times(10km). Weather permitting this will take place Saturday 19th September if not Sunday 20th.
If any of my fellow walking buddies from previous years or new ones would like to walk join me for all or part of the walk let me know!
Any donation no matter how small will make a difference and be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
