Walk for Dementia
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
Walk 50km for Alzheimers Society in July.

Story

In September 2021, i said my final good bye to my Dad who passed away from Alzheimers.

I had said good bye to him many months before as the cruelty we all know around Alzheimers is you lose them when you get that diagnosis. Then, as the disease progresses, you lose them again when they no longer recognize you. And, you lose them a third time when they actually pass away.

Alztheimers Society are the leading dementia charity and are a vital source of support and a powerful force for change for everyone affected by dementia.

By 2025, 1 million people will be living with the condition in the UK, and many millions more carers, partners, families and friends are affected.

This July i will be completing a 13 mile trek across the Brecon Beacons with a fantastic team of people including my son Mason to raise awareness of this disease & support this worthwhile charity.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated and will help make such a difference to many individuals living with dementia.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Sue xx
