Story
I am running in The Kenilworth Half Marathon to raise money for Cancer Research U.K. In memory of my Dad Brian Doran, who I watched battle Cancer for 7 years, he lost his life in 1989 aged 55 years, since losing my Dad, I have also lost other family members to Cancer. My Mum has battled Cancer twice and survived. My friend Lorraine is a true inspiration to anyone, she has had so many operations and spent so much time in hospital, and is currently recovering from yet another. She is a fighter. Most recently my cousin Mandy died on 25th August last year just 43 years old.
It is a very cruel disease and takes our loved ones away far too soon.
If you have lost someone to Cancer you will know how heartbreaking it is to watch your loved ones die.
Please sponsor me and make my run an opportunity to raise money to help fund research and find a cure for all Cancers.
