Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
I along with my work colleagues/friends are doing a 19 mile walk from Gloucester along the Sharpness Canal to Sharpness raising funds for Macmillan Nurses in memory of Paul Stroud. Paul was only 31 when he was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer in May 2012, tragically the cancer was very aggressive and spread to his liver, despite extensive chemo he died on 8th November 2012 leaving behind his adoring, loving family and two young children. Even though Paul knew he was dying he was always positive and upbeat throughout his illness and never complained!
Macmillian nurses provided valuable support to Paul and his family in his battle against cancer, it was his and his dad Tim Stroud's wish that any funds raised go to this worthy charity so they can continue to support other familes who have to go this very traumatic experience.
Please support us by donating and of course if you are able to join us on the walk on the 19th October. Please contact me direct for more details.
