Story

I am climbing Britain's highest mountain - Ben Nevis - on 21st September 2019.  To add to the challenge I am doing it at night as part of the Nevis at Night event.

I am raising funds for 2 different charities:

One is Down's Syndrome Scotland.   As you probably know, my older brother has Down's Syndrome and has benefited from the time, care and attention of many wonderful people over the years.  I want to show my appreciation to them and people like them as well as give other people with Down's Syndrome the opportunity to have the kind of life my brother has.

The other is the Nevis Landscape Partnership which manages and safeguards the beautiful environment around the Nevis area.  As you probably also know, I love spending time in the mountains and want continue to do so for many years to come.  The work the Nevis Partnership does will ensure our presence on the mountains does not negatively impact the environment.
