As most of you know, I dedicated my professional career to promoting literacy in schools. In retirement, I  have been fortunate enough to become a mentor for Everybody Wins! Vermont. More recently, my commitment to their mission has resulted in joining the board of directors. NOW I find myself training to hike up Mount Mansfield (4.3 miles with 2564 elevation!!) on August 28th to raise money for the organization.
