I am a patchworker and over the years have amassed masses of cotton fabric so I was very happy to be able to help out when some friends and family asked me to make some masks for them during this COVID 19 epidemic. I didn’t want any personal payment but then realised the potential of raising some much needed funds for local charities. Sue Ryder Nurses and healthcare teams are always there for local people who are dying. They are providing incredible emotional support as well as specialist medical care to people who are finding themselves in unimaginably difficult circumstances.We are all facing something we have never faced before which is why Sue Ryder has launched an appeal to make sure that they are still here.
