Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 23 September 2012, I will be taking part in the Alzheimer's Society Memory Walk, to help raise money for the work they do in supporting people with dementia and their carers.
If I can raise just £50 then that will pay for someone with dementia to go to weekly Dementia Café sessions for a month, where they can meet others, share experiences and feel less isolated.
As I've passed my original target of £200, I decided to increase that to £300. I hope you can help me reach this new goal!
Ten years ago, my mother died at 70, after a long battle with dementia. I decided at the start of this year to do this walk in memory of her.
