Memory Walk 2021
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year thousands of people will walk united, against dementia. With your help, we aim to raise as much money as possible to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

In 2014 my mum was diagnosed with Dementia, and for the last 7 years it's been as you'd expect. Having to watch mum's deterioration over this time, from looking after her at home to moving her into a home, watch her lose her entire personality, laughter, her voice, her mobility, everything that made her my mum, it certainly has taken its toll. I've also felt incredibly guilty having not done some fundraising sooner but now I'm finally going to try and give back to a charity that has done so much for our family, and remember mum as she was!

I've signed up to this year's Memory Walk in Painshill Park, Surrey! It's 7 kilometres and boy oh boy you'd be mistaken for thinking that was a walk in the park... as it were. 7k is long guys, but don't worry my training has already begun!

Please please give any amount you can and let's get closer to a world without Dementia! xx
