I will kick start the new fitness regime with my friends and family and take part in a 20km  winter  walk in central London on 14th January 2018 from  a wintery Base Camp start in Southwark Park, past Tower Bridge, we head out west along the Thames Path passing some of the most well-known landmarks of the city.

I was diagnosed with chronic lymphocyte leukemia on my 68th Birthday in 2012 and was on watch and wait for 3years before treatment. I completed my treatment in March 2016 and I am now in remission and I am extremely well and have much more energy. WINNERS DO NOT QUIT AND QUITTERS DO NOT WIN

CLL is the most common form of leukemia worldwide. CLLSA provides patients (and carers) with information and support for their CLL. The charity has helped me and many others come to terms with our condition and provides us with a better way of coping.
