Story
During these unprecedented times, together, as a club we want to show our respect for the NHS staff and volunteers who are working tirelessly to care for COVID-19 patients and to save lives. For every NHS worker we will row, run or cycle 1 metre, equating to 1400km. We aim to cover this distance as quickly as possible.
To help spur each others fundraising efforts forward on April 25th we will kick start our event with a competition against Sheffield University Rugby Football Club to cover the most mileage on that day by running, towards our goal.
With the daily death toll at its highest and an increasing number of fatalities on the front line, there is no better time to raise awareness for these courageous workers. So we thought we'd challenge ourselves to cover 1400km to help those who are most vulnerable.
In the meantime, please stay inside and lets show our gratitude and respect for all of the amazing frontline NHS carers, and together beat this virus.
QUARANTINE: KEEP ROWING FORWARD
