Suraj sir was a much loved and respected community leader and educator who tragically died in a house fire in his home village Sikles in January 2023. He was the Headteacher in Sikles when I lived there in 1992 and an inspirational leader.

This page has been set up for those that want to support his family and the wider community in commemorating his life and passion for education. Funds raised will be donated to the Suraj Memorial Fund - specifically to support & development of the science lab and support talented students as well as contribute towards a book about Suraj’s life.
