We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

Atrato Capital are proud supporters of The Brain Tumour Charity, the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally.

So, to help, we are trying to raise lots of money by attempting to swim the length of Lake Geneva (a total of 70km, 43 miles) with a relay team of 6 swimmers, starting on Saturday 13th and into Sunday 14th August 2022.

Our Swimmers

Candice Davis is a keen open water swimmer who has embraced endurance swims after a series of surgeries for brain tumours, as well as undergoing stereotactic radiation treatment. She has completed swims across the Bosporus, Coniston Water, and Lake Windermere, as well as a Channel relay swim.  She is delighted to be taking part in the Maillot d'Or for The Brain Tumour Charity.

Nick Taylor is part of the Atrato Group Capital Raising team, and our secret weapon!  New to open water swimming, taking it up for this event, he has been training hard and has already competed in an Open Water event in Derwent Water.

Simon Murie is a solo English Channel swimmer and swim coach. He loves swimming in adventurous locations around the world., including the River Volta in Ghana, and across the Gibraltar Straits. He spends a lot of his time scouting for new open water locations for his company Swimtrek (www.swimtrek.com).

Christopher Fearon is part of the investor relations team at Atrato Group. He lives in Battersea with his wife and has recently become a father to a little girl. For the last month he has been trying to attend early morning swimming lessons whilst being sleep deprived.

Cindy Graham has completed several sporting endurance events for charity, including a Channel relay swim, and two marathon events, all in the company of Candice.  She has also swum across the Bosporus Straits and a team marathon in the sea in January.

Jonathan Kay is Head of HR at Atrato Group, and a keen open water swimmer, swimming all year round off the coast of Sussex.  He has  competed in team triathlons and completed a Channel relay swim.
