Story
As you are all aware, the situation with the Syrian people is becoming dire. With recent Government decisions being the final straw, I have made an informed decision to travel to the Zataari camp which is situated on the Syrian/Jordan border.
I watched the video of last years deployment with HRF and it struck me how important it is to not only support this cause financially but also emotionally, hence why i have decided to go personally. I don't need to explain the situation here as we have all seen via social media the atrocities that are taking place. I have a target to reach and I ask for your help. The money that you raise will be put into development projects such as healthcare, education, food, blankets for the chilling cold and air coolers for when temperatures are too hot. It is your dedication that will help me make a real difference to the lives of people affected around the world. Jordan has been a supporting country to these refugees and as we can appreciate, it is not easy to handle 80,000 people.
HRF purchase blankets, food, stationary etc from Jordan which helps their economy. The least we can do for them in return.
This is how it works:
Places we will be visiting:
Zataari camp, local womens centre to distribute blankets, orphanage, individual homes, food packaging warehouse, food distribution center and a disabled children's school.
Your donations: Thick blankets - £15, large food sack - £60, air coolers - £TBC, also School stationary, ( to help them get back into education) sanitary packs, children activities in the orphanage/school, and so so much more!
I know giving money can sometimes feel a little tedious but please watch the video on my Facebook page and have a look at the pictures so you know what difference our money and time makes.
One mans collateral damage is another mans son, One mans penny is another mans pound. Please donate generously.
