Story
It has been 5 years since my first and last half marathon, almost to the day....
A humanitarian crisis is looming and I am asking you to kindly support my fundraising for Artsakh. The catch is that I will be running as much as raised, 1km for every £1k donated. We will see if I can sill run.
I still vividly remember my first half marathon. It was the 4th of October 2015, I happened to be in Armenia and I thought it would be an amazing experience to participate in the first ever marathon in the capital, Yerevan. Having not trained at all, I consider myself lucky to have even finished it and I have a shining medal to prove it!
It is important to share that all donations will be matched 1:1 by AGBU and directed to All-Armenia Fund to support urgent humanitarian and medical aid programs in Artsakh.
In case you don’t know, Armenia is once again in a horrific battle for its survival. Since September 27, Azerbaijan continues its attacks on Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), targeting many civilian infrastructures throughout the country. The fighting along the Line of Contact has claimed many lives and destroyed many structures in both rural and urban areas. According to the Artsakh Human Rights Defender Artak Beglaryan, over 50% of the population (75,000 children, women, and elderly) has been displaced
Please make me sweat and donate generously. Every £/$/EUR counts!
