Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

As many of you will know, Motor Neurone Disease Association has been a charity close to me and my family for a number of years, after losing a close friend of ours, Ian Montgomery in 2007 aged just 47 and then our father, Bryan in 2016.

In February 2019, my best mate Neil was also diagnosed with this awful, cruel disease. Neil is a fantastic friend, father and husband who is up for the fight and inspires us all everyday with his no fuss attitude.

For those of you who don’t know, Motor Neurone Disease also known as ALS is a life-limiting, rapidly-progressing disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. MND attacks the nerves that control movement so muscles no longer work. Although there is progress, there still isn’t a cure for this awful disease.

Me and my family want to do our bit to raise as much money and awareness as we can to help find a cure for this debilitating illness. All money I raise will go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association who coordinate care, support and important research for those people affected the disease.

LETS BE PART OF THE CURE.

Thank you for all your support, it's so very much appreciated.
