Story

On 28 May we will cycle 60 miles to raise money for the Motor Nerone Disease Association, a charity that improves access to care, research and campaigning for people living with or affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

MND is a cruel, relentless and heart-breaking disease both for the patient and those close to them. It is a progressive neurological condition which attacks the muscles by interrupting signals which should reach them from the brain. Over time this means the muscles grow weaker. Eventually they stop working altogether.

There is no cure for MND - and the only way to fight the disease is research, leading to new understanding and treatments.

Our beloved friend Mark was diagnosed with MND in 2020. Since then, Mark’s incredible family Bridget, Jess, Max, Scarlett and James have been an inspiration. Banging the drum to find a cure for this disease, they have raised thousands of pounds for the MND Association, and we would like to support them.

Please make a donation. Anything you can give would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you.
