What do you call a bunch of Leithers dressing up as Superheroes and running into Portobello Bay? Unhinged.

In the summer of 2021, Ethan - honorary Leither and son of our wonderful Producer, Fraser - began complaining of a sore arm. After numerous invasive tests, Mum and Dad received the heart-breaking news that Ethan has a rare and very aggressive form of cancer called Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour.

Ethan spent the next few months in the care of the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity (ECHC). During his treatment, the team at ECHC were there to make the experience as positive as possible.

No child or young person wants to be in hospital, but with the help of the everyday heroes at ECHC, Ethan’s family found support, distraction and even a few laughs in an otherwise difficult time.

To thank the team at ECHC for all that they have done to help Ethan - Spiderman fanatic and our personal hero - we’re asking you to sponsor us. With your support, we can help children and families - like Ethan and the Hunters - on good days, bad days and everything else in between.

Everyone from Leith taking the plunge will donate £20 and the agency will match each of these £20 donations.
