All 7 came home safely today, if a bit sore, limping and aching! Well done to them all and thank you so much to all our generous sponsors! We have raised an amazing amount and the bucket collections today have raised another £250!

Superheroes are poised for action!

Costumes ready! We now have Batman, Spiderman, Mr Incredible, Captain America, Kick Ass, Wonder Woman and Supergirl! Thanks for all your donations so far and helping us get over our target! Keep it coming!

The Superheroes (aka David, Mark, Graham, Matt, Lugg, Clare and Fred) will be running/jogging/hobbling/crawling the Reading Half Marathon, in costumes, on 1st April and need your help!

Their mission, should they choose to accept it, is to raise as much money as they can for the Brittle Bone Society, who provide support to people affected by the bone condition Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI).   

A person with OI has a genetic bone condition characterised by fragile bones that break easily. As well as frequently fractured bones, people with OI have muscle weakness, hearing loss, fatigue, joint laxity, curved bones, scoliosis, blue sclerae, dentinogenesis imperfecta, short stature and often constant pain. More info at www.brittlebone.org.
