Story
The operations team will be dressing up as SuperCHICKS on the 19th May to run 5K in aid of a fantastic charity CHICKS!!
The Incisive Media Foundation is a charitable initiative launched by Incisive Media in 2010 to recognise the enormous potential to raise funds for charity across its portfolio of events and awards, and make a tangible difference to the lives of others. The Foundation has selected three charities to support that will improve education and literacy opportunities for those in need in both the UK and Tanzania.
We will be running to raise funds for CHICKS, an inspiring charity set up in 1992, by two teachers who wanted to help the many underprivileged children in the UK that had never had the joy of a proper break. Now CHICKS takes in 1200 children a year and are looking to expand their locations.
In particular we are looking to raise money towards their minibus appeal. The minibuses are a crucial part of the trips away, not only in terms of picking up the children but also transporting them to and from the activities. CHICKS desperately need to replace their existing fleet or are in danger of having to stop the breaks. Each minibus costs £25,000 and we are hoping that with your help we can raise enough money to give CHICKS 2 new minibuses. Any donation you make towards smashing this target would be greatly received.
Wish us luck!
