Ensure students and residents succeed this year by alleviating unexpected financial burdens.

Story

Students and residents work hard to pursue their studies, attend clinic sessions, help patients, and complete external rotations. However, sometimes things happen unexpectedly causing financial hardships that are not covered by scholarships. The Student and Resident Relief Fund directs critical resources to those who find themselves with urgent expenses they're unprepared to meet. Illness, emergency travel, broken equipment, and unexpected relocation are among some of the the issues students and residents have faced. This fund is designed to be able to respond quickly to an urgent, unexpected need. In the past year we have spent over $12,000 to help students in critical situations.
