Action Medical Research are the leading UK charity funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children and young people. As a team of 4, we are taking part in this extremely tough dawn to dusk event where we will cycle, hike and canoe to raise money for this incredible cause.With your help, we're determined to make a real difference to children's lives.

A year ago Jackie sustained terrible injuries in a riding accident and it was questionable whether she would walk properly again, let alone ride a bike or get back on her horse. She has spent the last year gradually getting back her strength and fitness. This will be a major challenge for her, but she desperately wants to repay some of the help and kindness she received. As a grandmother of 5, the aims of Action Medical Research are close to her heart. 

We formed this team to support Jackie through this challenge. It will push us all to our limits (hopefully not beyond) and it will test our strength and resolve. In helping this very worthwhile cause we can bring sunshine into the lives of sick and disabled babies, children and young people. Your support will be incredibly helpful and we will end this very difficult year and a half with a massive celebration and a new beginning.
