Fundraising for Shuktara Trust (UK)
Story
Shuktara is focused on creating a life long home for abandoned children with special needs in Kolkata. In my travels there I’ve been fortunate to get to know David (founder) and some of the kids. They are spectacular and the best example I’ve seen of what love can do for a person. It’s a hard life, filled with numerous obstacles, yet everyone works together and in the end, they have created a home overflowing with life and love! While school/tutoring and work fill most days, the time I've spent there has been filled with games, art projects, masks, and sign language tutorials from experts who are very patient with me. I cannot wait to get back in late October!
