This event takes place on Sunday 8th June 2014 on the Bristol Harbourside. A team of SunLifers will be racing their way along the docks against other teams to raise money for charity.

We're really looking forward to the fun and we hope you'll cheer us on and support us to raise a thousand pounds for Winston's Wish.

About the charity...

Every 22 minutes a child in Britain is bereaved of a parent.

Winston's Wish is the leading childhood bereavement charity and the largest provider of services to bereaved children, young people and their families in the UK. 

"We believe that the right support at the right time can enable young people to live with their grief"

Their mission is to provide professional services to children who have been bereaved, to enable them to live with their grief so that they can face the future with confidence and hope. 

They offer practical support and guidance to families, professionals and anyone concerned about a grieving child.

About the target...

Our target is £1,000. With such a generous collection of SunLife people and all our friends, this should be more than achievable! 

The money raised will enable Winston's Wish to deliver a training session to 20 professionals - who in turn would work with and support many more bereaved children.
