The purpose of our live gig is to spend the night
celebrating the live talent we have lived up and to share some amazing music,
but also to raise awareness and some money for Gig Buddies.

Gig Buddies is a project of Thera Trust which
enables adults with a learning disability to live an active social life. They
pair together members and like minded volunteers to enjoy shared interests, not
just music gigs, but also comedy shows, cinema, live theatre and whatever else
they feel like doing. Gig Buddies isn’t a short term pairing, it’s a life long
friendship.

Gig Buddies also work with a range of venues and
organisations to make local events more welcoming for people with a learning
disability. Powered by people with lived experience, Gig Buddies share with
staff and venue owners ways to make their events more accessible and enjoyable
for people who may have struggled to attend.

With your donations, Gig Buddies can continue to
create life long friendships powered by shared interests, and can grow their services
to reach more people and venues looking for a more active social life.
