Story

I haven't formally fund raised for some time.   Over the years, I have seen other people's great work in raising funds and contributed to many of the causes.   I've decided it was my turn again....

During a difficult year or so for everyone, I thought I would try to come out of lockdown in a better place!   I began on the road back to building my fitness after a very long time away.

After a bumpy start back in Lockdown 1 with a knee injury, I have recovered and am ready to run first real road race in ages!    It happens to also be my birthday ...  !

There is a high chance that each of has been or will be impacted by cancer at some points in our lives...

Cancer Research UK continues its work to beat cancer.  The recent scientific work to deal with the pandemic shows how quickly science can move.  It only takes one breakthrough to significantly change the scene.

I would be very grateful for any size donation.  No amt is too small... no amt too big!

Hope you are all staying healthy and happy!

Denis
