As restrictions do not allow us to host our annual Summer Fair and there will be no Slaley Show this year, we are going to have a Slaley School Flower Festival on Thursday 15th July 2021.
There will be 2 classes that your children can enter. Children can choose to enter both classes for £5 or one for £2.50:
1. A planted flower in an old wellington boot
2. A miniature garden
Children can bring their entries into school on the Thursday morning. The entries will then be judged, and weather permitting, staff will help children place their entries around the field. At pick-up, the results will be announced. If the weather allows, parents can take their children around the field to see entries, before collecting a summer party bag as they leave the school grounds. There will be prizes for the winners and children can come to school in brightly coloured clothes on Thursday 15th July 2021.
We will also have a Summer Raffle with an excellent array of prizes! Raffle tickets are £1each and can be purchased on this JustGiving site along with payment for your event entries by Tuesday 13th July 2021, so that we can confirm numbers.
