Story
Every year we have many homeless queens/queens with kittens come into our care and this year is no exceptio! We give them a safe place to birth and rear their kittens ensuring they have the best care possible.
Pixie, was one such queen, she was admitted into our care with 2 dependent kittens Pickle and Parker. She was a super mum and did a great job of rearing her kittens, happily they have both been adopted. Unfortunately, Pixie went on to develop a urinary tract infection that required her to receive a few weeks of tests and treatment including, bloods & urine tests, x-ray and a scan. These tests showed that she was suffering with a bacterial infection, and she has responded well to a course of antibiotic medication.
Pixie is one of several queens we have helped already this year and we anticipate to help many more in the months ahead! We are raising money for Cats Protection Bridgend to help cats like Pixie and her kittens as they journey to safety and to happy new homes giving them the best start possible. Please help to give every cat mum who is lost, hungry and alone the extra special care they need. Your contribution to Cats Protection will make an impact. A £5 donation will feed a hungry cat mum like Pixie with specialist food for 25 days. £20 will provide a safe and comfortable place to give birth and £50 will provide a cat or kitten with veterinary treatment to help get them ready for a new home.
Our vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs.
