Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Those of you who know me will also know that I love to ride my bike. Every time I go for a big ride there's always someone asking if I'm doing it for charity, so this time I am! Please, can you donate a little of your hard earned cash to help the White Chapel Centre in Liverpool with the amazing work that they do?
The Whitechapel Centre is the leading homeless and housing charity for the Liverpool region. They work with people who are sleeping rough, living in hostels or struggling to manage their accommodation.
They are committed to helping people find and maintain a home and learn the life skills essential for independent living.
So what's the plan? We are going to ride over 3 days covering over 450 miles and climbing more than 35,000ft. Day 1 will take us from the seaside town of Bridlington up to Whitby, over the North York Moores and the Northern Pennines and finally after 175 miles to Penrith. Day 2 will see us tackling the Lake District with 100+ miles of very undulating terrain before heading south to Morecambe. The final day will see us following the Way of the Roses back over the Pennines into Yorkshire, past York, over the Yorkshire Wolds and finally, back to Bridlington. Complete and utter summer cycling madness!
If you'd like to back me in in this craziness please donate to the work of the White Chapel Centre. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
