My name is Sumeya and I am fundraising to support Aston ISoc's campaign Rescue Yemen. 

Someone once told me that "A little bit of good goes a long way" and that "despite all our differences, people will always be there for each other". 

The people of Yemen are victims through no fault of their own, having suffered from war, famine and disease. Their suffering will continue throughout Ramadan. This is devastating, as no one should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from.

We are partnering up with Mercy Relief to bring you a Ramadaan Fundraising Challenge. We are fundraising for Mercy Reliefs ongoing projects in Yemen, providing food, clean water, medication and financial support for those suffering from the catastrophic effect of the war.

£100 can help provide: 

Two Ramadaan family food packs OR 

200 cholera kits OR

 Clean water for 10 families for the whole month of Ramadaan.

We are asking you to use the power of social media during this blessed month of Ramadaan to help the people in need in Yemen. See where you're creativity from being at home can take you in helping those in need.

For every £5,000 we collectively raise as an ISOC , there will be a prize draw for individuals who raise over £500 and YOU can have the chance at winning a free trip to either Bosnia or Al Andalus(flights excluded).
