When my Grandmother suffered from a Stroke many years ago, it had a real effect on our family. This adversity, has provided me the motivation to work alongside the Stroke Association. Furthermore, I've clearly recognised the fantastic work done; by this charitable organisation to improve the awareness of Strokes and the effects they can have on families.

Therefore, I've decided I want to run the BUPA Great Birmingham Half Marathon on October 20th 2013. With the aim of trying to help The Stroke Association raise money, so they can continue with their great work.
