Sponsored swim for the Suffolk Group MND Association · 11 December 2022

We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

Sponsored swim at the Abbeycroft Leisure Centre, Bury St Edmunds. Sunday 11th December at 2.15pm followed by mince pies and mulled wine from 3.30pm.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Swim Suffolk JustGiving page for the MND Association.

Having worked for many years for the MND Association I know that the work of our dedicated volunteers really makes a difference to the lives of those affected by MND. The Suffolk team of volunteers provide direct support to families including financial support, a regular newsletter, support meetings, campaigning for high quality care and services, raising awareness of MND, fundraising and so much more! My aim is to support and validate their invaluable work and of course to provide much needed resource for local families in Suffolk.

Myself, Paul (a carer whose wife has MND), Chas (who is living with MND), Jackie (whose husband  had MND) and her daughter in law, Kerry, Joanna, Lara and Amelie (family) and friend, Sharon all plan to set personal swimming challenges (Paul, Jackie, Kerry and I aim to swim a mile at least, Joanna a half mile, Lara 100 lengths) to raise some worthwhile funds for local people.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Thank you to Abbeycroft Leisure for supporting this event!
