Story
This year (our 5th), the Wild Women will be spending six days walking in France, through the Célé Valley between Cahors and Figeac before heading on to Rocamadour. We have chosen WaterAid as our charity.
Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene are basic human rights. They should be a normal part of daily life for everyone, everywhere - but they aren't.
It's usually women and girls who are expected to collect water from unsafe sources like rivers, streams and holes in the ground. The journey is often dangerous, and the sheer weight of full containers can leave life-long injuries.
The time this takes every day impacts on the time that could be better spent in school, earning a living, or with family.
Please support us so that together we may help women and girls unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.
Thank you
