Story
As many of you know, we tragically lost our son Dan (PC931) on Boxing Day 2018. Inevitably, the past 2 years have been unimaginably painful but the continued support and love shown by the police family has helped us through the dark times.
I am also very honoured to be riding in memory of DC Joe Mabuto, one of Dan's colleagues who tragically died on duty at his desk in Milton Keynes in 2016.
For us and many others who find themselves in similar circumstances, COPS offer invaluable support opportunities and access to counselling services to help surviving family members (‘survivors’) rebuild their shattered lives. Since its foundation in 2003, COPS has helped hundreds of police families devastated by the loss of a loved one who died on duty.
This year I am proud to be once again taking part in this tremendous event to help raise funds for COPS. The last year has been particularly hard for so many charities, so every penny we can raise will do so much.
Any donations you can make will help support those who truly need it and we are incredibly grateful for anything you can give.
We will ride with pride and remember the loved ones we have lost.
