Story
Running became my lifeline and saviour two years ago after my beloved hubby Chris passed away from Leukaemia and I was that lost soul.
Once I had set my mind to running, I went from not being able to run a mile to completing the Oxford Half Marathon and the Great South run in 2016. The training gave me a focus and reason to carry on and put one foot in front of the other and helped me in so many ways. After completing the half marathon I felt alive for the first time since Chris had passed away rather than just surviving each day, giving me the courage, determination and strength that I can do this
Two years on and I can now run with a smile on my face and love in my heart, running has become part of my life
If the fundraising can in some small way help towards others not having to hear the devastating words 'there is nothing more we can do' or they get to spend another day, hour, minute or one more hug with their loved ones that is priceless.
Treasured memories of my lovely hubby Chris
Thank you for your kind donations and continued love and support
