We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have chosen to support this charity becuase in 2010 my fit and healthy dad was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. After a long and difficult bout of chemotherapy, he recovered, but the treatment took its toll on his health.  Sadly in 2013 he was diagnosed once more, and undertook another gruelling bout of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The treatment was unsuccessful and recently he has been told the lymphoma is too agressive and there is no other treatment for him.

I am running for Leukaemia and Lyphoma Research in the hope that one day there will be cures for all types of blood cancer, so that other families wont have to watch their loved one lose the fight against this terrible disease.

If I can help one other family, it will be worth it.
