Update 24th March 2008.
Why did nobody tell me how COLD it was going to be doing this kind of activity in a snowstorm?! And what shoes to wear so that the main thing on your mind isn't whether a shoe is going to fall off?
Anyway - I DID IT! How cool am I ?!!!Pictures on request...
Thanks for sponsoring me everyone. We've managed to raise over £1000 which is more than twice my original target of £400. I'm being taken to the ward sometime soon to see why this has happened and then afterwards this website will close so please add as much money as possible soon.
Love Sue
UPDATE - 11 March 2008
Just to kick off the week nicely instead of with miserable rain I have a competition for you to choose what items I take up with me on the sky dive. It has to be realistic and not, for example, a spaniel made out of jelly that a friend suggested (although that was a very impressive idea and I’m looking into how it can be achieved). Oh yes - diId I mention the WonderWoman outfit I've now got to wear?
So far we have:
· A pack of cards for 52 card pick up
· A paper aeroplane with a ransom note
· An imaginary dead pet mole (don’t ask)
· A rubber hand – the current winner
· Krispy Kreme doughnut
· A chicken to have a race with on the way down
· Jelly or a spaniel
· A jelly spaniel
· Anvil – Thanks Graeme. I love you too
· Strawberry milkshake to recreate that famous Jim’ll’Fixit moment
-------------------------------------------------------
So here's the deal. A totally spur of the moment decision has meant that I'm going to be pushed out of a plane kicking and screaming on March 23 (Easter Day). We know a song about that don't we girls and boys? (see below...)
I'm sure that all my friends will want to help me raise as much money as possible and any enemies will want to pay to watch me go splat. Either way please pass me all your hard earned money to help and give the kids at COSMIC the best possible chance (see left)
Pablo has already laid claim to the silverwear. Also on offer are:
A vast collection of notes about ITIL (probably not worth claiming)
My husband as someone will need to keep him if it all goes wrong.
Have I mentioned that I'm scared by the way
Lots of love and thanks in advance - Sue
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: COSMIC (Children Of St Mary's Intensive Care) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
