Paraglide off a mountain in Chamonix, French Alps · 25 June 2017

Redevelopment gives us the opportunity to put the Church at the centre of all we do. By creating a warm, well-lit & accessible building open most days, providing a welcoming & easy to find venue for our activities, & creating facilities that are modern & relevant to share with the Bitterne community

Story

The Church was completed in 1853 to serve a growing local population. Since then it has been extended twice & altered internally, lastly in 1992 when the Church Room was added. As we continue to develop & grow, it is time to do more work on the church & church room making it fully accessible, with modern facilities, plus meeting rooms & the church office on one site. All our work will then be based in the church, with space available for community use. It will be open most days, not just for services, with bright & welcoming entrances for all.
