Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my  JustGiving page.

I am running this half marathon as Alison challenged me to run for Diabetes UK.

Her daughter Elizabeth was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes as a young child and I have seen how Diabetes has impacted on Elizabeth’s life and that of her family especially during her teenage years with lots of admissions to A and E in Diabetic  comas..

Hopefully one day a cure will be found for Elizabeth and all the people who suffer with this disease.
