Story
Last Summer my brother-in-law, Tony, was diagnosed with bowel cancer. He had to have a major operation to remove tumours from his bowel followed by 8 courses of chemotherapy as cancer cells were also found in his lymph nodes.
To let him know how proud we are of his courage in battling through this, my sister (his wife) and I will be plucking up some courage of our own to do this skydive together.
110 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer every day, that's one person every 15 minutes. It's the UK's third most common cancer and the second biggest cancer killer.
Bowel Cancer UK do some amazing work in research and treatment and are campaigning for the age of screening to be lowered to 50. If this had been the case Tony might not have needed to go through everything he has.
Please donate if you can to help Bowel Cancer UK beat this awful disease. Thank you!!
