I realise that those who know me will not believe that I am actually going to do this but to all those doubters, ye of little faith, watch this space, I will be a blur! (perhaps more of a smudge) I am determined to finish the race, however,  the only record I will break will be 'reddest face' so don't look for a record finishing time!

The motivation for me to do something so completely out of character is Rainbows Childrens Hospice.  Rainbows is an amazing place, providing Children and their families with support and care when they need it most.  It is a really happy and inspirational place which surprised me when I visited.  I left wanting to do more to help, so here I am!  Please give as much as you can, your money really will make a difference.  Rainbows are trying to raise money to develop a new wing of the Hospice that will provide care to young people as well as Children.  Something much needed in this area.  If you donate enough cash, I may even wear a scarf and heels to run the race (scarves accessorise any outfit even dayglo lycra.....)
