We support autistic & neurodivergent people to live a meaningful, empowered life

Story

Hello, I'm Sue

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have set myself 3 huge challenges.....

#  to raise £3500 for Daisy Chain ( I hate asking for money)

#  to take 6 flights to Peru (I am terrified of flying )

#  to complete the Inca Trail, a difficult trek at high altitude (I am            scared of heights) !!!

WHY???

Because I know what it feels like to have a child who has an autistic spectrum disorder. I know the isolation, the prejudice, the pain.... and the desparation, the need to be taken seriously, to be heard, and to be understoood. I had no Daisy Chain to turn to, and know how vital their work is for families like mine.

Your money makes a MASSIVE difference to peoples lives. Daisy Chain is an oasis where families can feel NORMAL, and children are accepted and treated with respect. Daisy Chain is a unique organisation with  vision and high expectations, where families can feel a sense of belonging, a sense of achievement, and a sense of power.

So PLEASE dig deep, and help me to help others. Your donations make a huge difference to the lives of many families like my own.

And your support will also help me to face ( and conquer?) my own personal challenges. Every penny counts.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please support me and donate now.

Thank You x
